Oh my I have been one ill moose today! Not just me though Sheryl has been throwing up since 3 am, Lilybet all day and I have the runs like nobodies business!
Seriously if I have not lost weight today based on the amount of time spent on the loo today I am gonna go mad!
All started at 5am when I woke up in crippling stomach pain and just about managed to get to the toilet on time where I sat until 7! I can recite next weeks TV magazine word for word!
And so I have spent nearly all day in bed trying to sleep, in between qualifying for the next Olympics in the 100 metres.
The worse thing though is poor Elizabeth being sick all day and at times she just wonders into the bathroom and has fallen asleep next to the toilet :0(
Sheryl and I have zero enjoy and unfortunately for her Lilybet is a mummies girl when not well.
Being the dedicated person that I am I wanted to share my shitty day with you LOL
In between the sweat the shivers and the toilet runs it taken me over 45 minutes to write this
Tomorrow is the last day of the mind workshop and I am hoping I feel better enough to go BUT should I really go if I am risking passing it on to others? need advice here please!
Hey Moose
Im sorry you all feel so shitty.
NO, I honestly don’t think you should go! Even if you feel better. Because chances are sheryl or lilybet will still not feel good, and you just need time to physically recover. Puking and shitting many times throughout the day has cognitive symptoms too because of dehydration, lack of sleep due to getting up at night to evacuate, inability to maintain proper levels of nourishment and electrolytes…..if I were you sir I would stay home! Do you know anyone who is going? Is it being broadcast on the web somewhere? Can you get a videotaped copy of the workshop?
Hope this helps

Oh no. Sorry to hear you’re all so sick. I hope it gets better soon!
It’s hard to know when to not be around other people for fear of contagious-ness. I’m usually that awful person that goes to events and work anyway- but it’s because I’ve have a reverse commitment-phobia (I don’t like going back on something I agreed to doing). I know it’s stupid and wrong for me to risk others’ health like that.
How long have you been sick? If it’s over 24 hours by the time you have your event, you probably won’t be contagious. Those bugs tend to only be communicable for a time before you feel crappy and only a couple hours during when you feel crappy.
Also, TV magazine??? I guess I’m spoiled by my smart-phone 😉

Hi Moosey, if you think there’s a chance that it may get passed onto others, it may be best not to go, for all your sakes. Best wishes

Aaaww, Moose, sorry for you all. Something else to think about, if you’ve been that ill, it might have drained you so much you will have no resistance to all the bugs etc. on the tube. And if you get too poorly and run down, it won’t help the depression. If you cannot decide, ring NHS Direct in the morning. Take care all of you 🙂 x

I think there’s a bug going round. Loads of people at my work have it, but I think it’s just a 24 hours thing! Hope you feel better soon. 🙂

There should be a “sympathy” or “don’t like” button. Sorry to hear you are unwell. When you are better, please accept my nomination for the “Very inspiring Blogger” Award. You’re an amazing fella. Jen xxx
